Forney Museum of Transportation

The Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver, CO is at 4303 Brighton Boulevard. The museum has more than 900 artifacts and is a must-see for anybody who visits the city. J.D. Forney, an inventor who also developed the Instant Heat Soldering Iron and the welding machine, founded this museum in 1955. The museum began as a small collection of automobiles and evolved into a comprehensive auto museum displaying almost everything on wheels.

The Forney Museum of Transportation has one-of-a-kind antique automobiles in its collection. Trains, bicycles, carriages, and steam locomotives were added to the museum’s collection.
